EarFun has announced the Wave Pro X headphones, set for release on 3rd September 2026. The Wave Pro X features Adaptive Real-time Hybrid ANC for responsive noise cancellation and DCAA (Dual-Coaxial headphones with Acoustic Architecture), a redesigned driver system designed to improve sound quality.
The Wave Pro X combines Adaptive Hybrid ANC and DCAA acoustic architecture to provide real-time environmental awareness, effective noise cancellation, and accurate sound.
Powered by Qualcomm® Technologies’ Latest Flagship Chip for Sound
The Wave Pro X uses the Snapdragon S3 Gen 1 Sound Platform (Qualcomm QCC3095), which improves wireless connectivity, sound quality, and noise cancellation. It supports Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite for high-fidelity audio, low latency, and stable connections with compatible devices. Bluetooth 6.0 allows faster pairing and data transfer, while battery efficiency is improved over previous models. Security features include Dynamic Encryption and Secure Simple Pairing. The headphones also support Google Fast Pair for quick setup and Auracast for multi-device audio sharing.

Adaptive Hybrid ANC: Noise Cancellation That Reads the Room
Adaptive Hybrid ANC is EarFun’s latest noise cancellation system. It adjusts noise cancellation levels in real time based on the surrounding environment, increasing cancellation in loud areas and reducing it in quieter spaces to help preserve natural sound and reduce fatigue. The system uses an 8-microphone hybrid setup for voice capture and to suppress background noise during calls, even in busy or windy conditions.
Adaptive Hybrid ANC works over both wireless and wired connections. The Wave Pro X supports full Hybrid ANC when connected by USB or AUX, so users can keep noise cancellation active whether using Bluetooth or a wired setup.
DCAA™: A New Architecture for Sound
The Wave Pro X uses DCAA (Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture), which places a 40mm DLC dynamic driver and a 10mm LCP driver on the same axis. This design helps both drivers work from a single acoustic center. An AI-driven crossover manages the transition between drivers in real time, keeping bass, mids, and highs phase-aligned. The goal is to deliver clear bass, natural midrange, and consistent high frequencies across different types of music.
The Wave Pro X supports Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC, and is Hi-Res Audio certified. It can play lossless audio from most sources. LE Audio efficiency allows up to 90 hours of battery life. USB Audio is available for wired listening when needed.
Built for Gaming, Calls, and Everyday Life
Ultra-Low Latency Game Mode can be enabled through the EarFun Audio App, which also allows users to customize their listening experience. Multipoint Connection lets users switch between a Bluetooth-enabled console and other devices. The headphones support voice assistants for hands-free control. The Wave Pro X is designed for comfort during long listening sessions.
