Lingverse, a Singapore-based smart hardware and AI company, is launching its human-machine interaction operating system, LifeOS. LifeOS is the platform behind the wearable modular AI device iKairos, which debuts at IFA 2026.
iKairos is a circular pendant that works as a ‘Neural Core’ and can be used with different hardware and accessories. At launch, it will be available as part of a small desktop robot that interacts with users, but it can also be removed and worn as a necklace.
iKairos collects contextual data about the user and their environment from different perspectives. Lingverse’s LifeOS platform processes this information.

LifeOS on iKairos tracks routines, preferences, and context to offer relevant suggestions. It takes regular snapshots of daily habits and analyzes patterns to help users make sense of their everyday activities.
LifeOS identifies what matters to the user, tracks changes in routines, and connects observations over time. This helps surface patterns or insights that might otherwise go unnoticed.
LifeOS helps users spot patterns in their interactions and routines. For example, if a user often talks about starting a new hobby but never follows through, iKairos can suggest a local beginner class. It can also recall visual details from past experiences, making it easier to find inspiration without searching through phone galleries.
The design of this modular AI device lets it collect different types of data. Over time, this could help it better understand users and serve as a core intelligence for various devices. Future home robots could use iKairos to access a user’s habits and preferences right away.
Protecting User Privacy by Design
iKairos incorporates both physical and software-based privacy protections throughout the system. These include a physical camera shutter, privacy indicator light, and manual mute button, giving users clear visibility into when the device is capturing audio or visual information and direct control over its sensors.
Voice detection and capture controls run locally on the device. When cloud processing is required, data is uploaded in accordance with the user’s privacy settings and authorization. However, data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Behind the scenes, we do not use user data to train the underlying AI model. Users can manage the retention period for their raw data and delete individual records or account-related data at any time, giving users greater control over when information is collected.
