Yarbo is bringing modular yard robots to more homes. From September 4 to 8, the company will show its latest lineup at IFA 2026, including the first public appearance of the final M Series. The M Series is built for standard residential yards, while the Y Series targets larger properties. Yarbo’s modular platform, which we featured months ago, covers a range of yard sizes and tasks, including mowing, snow clearing, and leaf collection.
M Series: Compact by Design, Capable by Nature
The M Series has a smaller footprint and a simpler setup. It’s built to make yard automation more accessible and outdoor maintenance easier.
The M Series is compact and flexible to deploy. Its tracked chassis gives it stable traction on wet grass, dirt, stone pavers, and mixed surfaces. It can handle slopes up to about 35 degrees and steps or edges around 2 inches high. The M Series can also tow up to 220 lbs, enough for small carts, tools, or future accessories.
Setup is straightforward. The M Series uses Data Center Gen2, NetRTK, and optional LiDAR, so it doesn’t need traditional boundary wires. Initial placement, mapping, and setup take about 30 minutes. Its wireless charging system recharges from 10% to 90% in about 65 minutes. Auto-charging and task-resume features let the M20 and M20i mow up to 1.5 acres per day.
Bringing Intelligent Yard Care Solutions to More Homes
Yarbo started by automating yard work that was usually done by hand. Its first product was a robotic snow blower, bringing autonomous snow clearing to homeowners.
Yarbo expanded its approach to cover more than one task. Its modular platform uses a universal Core with interchangeable modules for mowing, snow clearing, leaf collection, and other yard-care needs. This lets homeowners use one robot for year-round maintenance.
This year, the M Series raised over $3.6 million from 850 backers through crowdfunding. The numbers show there is demand for more versatile, multi-purpose yard-care robots.

At IFA 2026, Yarbo will be on display at two locations: H9-122 indoors and OCG-137 outdoors. Visitors can see Yarbo’s modular design and yard-care features in action. The M Series will be shown with the Mower, Snow Blower, and Collector modules. Future modules like the Trimmer and Smart Assist are also planned.
