Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen9 is an AI PC that's powered by a Snapdragon chip

Lenovo unveiled its latest ThinkBook, and while you’ll think, “yeah, nothing special about it. But this one is different, as it’s powered by a Snapdragon chip. The  new Lenovo ThinkBook 14/16 Gen 9 (Snapdragon) bills it as a practical AI PC for small and medium businesses. Powered by the Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, it delivers fast productivity, seamless multitasking, robust on-device AI, and long battery life, ideal for both office and home office use.

AI PC Productivity on the Move

Lenovo’s latest ThinkBook lineup combines on-device AI, Lenovo Qira, and Copilot+ PC experiences with premium mobility. Professionals, students, and hybrid workers can pick the device that best fits their workflow.

It balances AI performance, efficiency, and mobility. Powered by Snapdragon® X2 Plus and delivering 80 TOPS of AI performance, this ultra-slim 14” notebook is ideal for AI-enhanced workflows and multitasking. Features like a bright 14” display, optional touch, and a lightweight 1.3kg design support productivity anywhere. Copilot+ PC and Lenovo Qira help automate tasks, boost collaboration, and keep users focused during meetings. What’s even better? This ThinkBook can last up to 26 hours, keeping you productive all day (if you want to, but we don’t recommend it).

Since AI is now essential (because it makes a few things easier), the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9 with Snapdragon integrates Copilot+ PC.  A dedicated Copilot key gives instant access to Microsoft’s AI assistant for fast document automation and research. And with its Snapdragon X Plus processor,  it brings ARM-based efficiency to the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9. Its Neural Processing Unit (NPU) handles demanding AI tasks without draining the battery. Whether summarizing meetings or creating content, the laptop adapts to your workflow.

Designed for hybrid workers and creators, the 16-inch display (16:10, TÜV Eyesafe® certified) makes multitasking easy and reduces eye strain. A full numeric keypad adds convenience for those handling data.

It also includes Smart Meeting software, which uses AI for noise cancellation and AV optimization to ensure clear communication in any environment.

Interestingly, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9 AI PC meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards. That means it can handle rough-and-tumble fieldwork. Security includes a Discrete TPM, biometric login, and an infrared camera with a privacy shutter.

For early adopters, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9 pairs Snapdragon’s energy efficiency with strong enterprise features to enhance digital workflows. It’s a productivity partner built for the future of work.
