Nacon, the folks who’ve been making gaming gear since before RGB was cool, just pulled the wraps off the Revolution Pro X Special Edition controller for Xbox. If you liked their Revolution X line, this one’s basically that, but it’s got a few extra tricks up its sleeve. Its design will impress the sweatband-wearing esports crowd and casual gamers alike.
Nacon Xbox controller new look
With new color options and faceplates, you can swap out faster than you can switch in-game loadouts. Nacon’s thrown in adjustable thumbsticks and D-pads. That way, you can tweak the feel until it’s just right. And yes, there are LED accents, because what’s a modern gaming gadget without a little glow?
Pro-Grade Performance Features
Under the hood, it’s all about performance. Hall Effect triggers and joysticks use magnetic sensors instead of the usual wear-and-tear culprits. Stick drift is less likely to crash your party. The back also has programmable buttons. So if you’re playing Tekken or Street Fighter, you can program your own combos with just one button.
You’ll get the rumble and trigger stops for that immersive, ‘I swear I felt that headshot’ feedback. Whether you’re a cable loyalist or prefer to roam free, you can go wired or wireless, so latency haters and couch potatoes can rejoice.
If you love tinkering, the Revolution X software lets you remap buttons and tweak stick sensitivity. Plus, you can save profiles for every game, or every sibling who insists on their own setup. Esports pros will appreciate the finer controls, but casual gamers will like it too.
It’s built for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, but PC gamers aren’t left out. Just plug in the 2.4 GHz dongle, and you’re good to go.
Xbox Controller Special Edition Extras
You also get a fancy carrying case, extra thumbstick caps for when you inevitably lose one. It has a braided USB-C cable that can probably survive a few rage quits. Nacon’s clearly sweating the small stuff here.
Pre-orders are live on Nacon’s site and at select retailers. If you want a controller that looks sharp, feels pro, and lets you tweak just about everything, it’s worth a look. It’s a great tool whether you’re chasing esports glory or just want to flex on your friends.
With hardware getting fancier by the month, Nacon’s latest controller shows that sometimes, the right gear really can help you clutch that last round, or at least look good trying.
