TerraMow X AWD is the all-wheel robotic lawnmower you need

We’re definite fans of robot vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers, or any appliance that makes cleaning automated.

We’ve featured robot lawnmowers before, but they share a common problem: when they hit the edge of your yard, they stop, spin around, and head back the other way. Over time, those constant turns can wear down your grass and leave bare spots. The TerraMow X AWD takes a different approach with its “Shuttle Drive” bi-directional mowing, designed to keep your lawn looking healthy.

Now on Kickstarter, the TerraMow X AWD claims to be the first all-wheel-drive robot mower that skips the usual turning routine. Instead of spinning around at the end of each row, it just reverses and keeps mowing. This simple change helps it cover up to 0.30 acres per hour, making it much more efficient.

Built for Every Terrain

Most robotic mowers are built for small, flat lawns, but the X AWD is made for big yards and tricky terrain. With its 42V all-wheel-drive system and dual suspension, it can handle steep slopes up to 42 degrees and roll right over roots, ruts, and uneven ground up to 7 centimeters deep.

The floating cutting deck lets the three blades adjust to the shape of your yard, so you don’t have to worry about scalping the grass. On a single charge, it can mow up to 1.5 acres, and with the ModuleX system, you can stretch that to 2.7 acres.

Navigation Without Boundaries

The TerraMow X AWD stands out for its smart navigation. You don’t need to mess with underground wires or worry about losing GPS signal. Its six cameras and AI-powered vision system help it navigate your yard, no matter the conditions.

With just one click, the mower scans and maps your property—even under thick trees or next to big buildings where other robot mowers might get stuck. Its AI can spot and avoid more than 500 types of obstacles, from pets and toys to lawn chairs, before it ever gets close.

If you have a big yard and want to take mowing off your to-do list, the TerraMow X AWD could be a game changer.
