It’s the weekend already, and what better way to spend it than to hunker down with a handheld gaming console and play games all weekend! Or if you want, just get on the couch and watch awesome movies and series on your awesome TV. Well, the new Acer Predator Atlas 8 and the Sony Bravia TVs could tick all of those boxes!
Acer’s new Predator Atlas 8 handheld gaming console is built for gamers who want serious power on the go. It runs on Intel Arc G-Series processors, supports ray tracing, and uses AI-powered XeSS 3 upscaling for smoother graphics. The 80 Wh battery and Intel Endurance Gaming tech mean you can play longer between charges.

To keep things cool during long sessions, the Atlas 8 uses Acer’s AeroBlade dual-fan system, which improves airflow for better performance. The 8-inch touchscreen offers a sharp, smooth experience with a 120 Hz refresh rate, VRR support, and tough Gorilla Glass Victus. For audio, you get DTS:X Ultra sound, dual speakers, and AI-powered noise cancellation for clearer voice chat.
The Atlas 8 runs Windows 11 and comes with XBOX Mode and XBOX Game Pass, so you can jump into your favorite games right away. It’s packed with modern connectivity, including Thunderbolt 4, fast Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Controls are designed for comfort, featuring full-size analog sticks, customizable triggers, and a dedicated PredatorSense button for quick access to settings. It’ll be available in October 2026.
From handheld entertainment to the big-screen one.
Sony is bringing more of the cinema experience home with its latest lineup: the flagship BRAVIA 9 II, the BRAVIA 7 II True RGB TVs, and the new BRAVIA Theater Trio wireless audio system.
BRAVIA 9 II and 7 II TVs
Both the BRAVIA 9 II and 7 II TVs use Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro to control each color channel for richer, more accurate colors than ever before. This tech helps reduce blooming, improves viewing angles, and keeps colors true even in bright rooms. You’ll also find Google TV with Gemini, AI-powered Voice Zoom 3 for clearer dialogue, 3D Surround Upscaling, and studio-calibrated modes for top streaming services.
- BRAVIA 7 II: Available in 50- to 98-inch classes.
- The BRAVIA 9 II steps things up with advanced LED controls, Sony’s RGB Triluminos Max for even better color, and Immersive Black Screen Pro, which reduces glare. It also packs Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with up-firing tweeters for a more immersive sound, and comes in a massive 115-inch size.
BRAVIA Theater Trio
Sony’s BRAVIA Theater Trio is a compact wireless system designed with Sony Pictures Entertainment’s sound experts. It uses 360 Spatial Sound Mapping to simulate up to 24 speakers, bringing studio-quality audio to your living room. The Trio comes with a USB-C mic for easy room calibration, supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced, and can connect to optional wireless subwoofers and rear speakers, no soundbar needed.
