Acer has updated its Predator Helios Neo gaming laptops with Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPUs. The new models offer more power and a range of sizes and display options for gamers.
Intel’s Core Ultra 200HX Plus processors deliver faster performance and better battery life than the previous generation. Gamers can expect quick response times, stable frame rates, and smart performance tuning across a wide range of games.
NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, built on the Blackwell architecture, deliver greater AI performance and improved graphics. DLSS 4.5 boosts performance and speeds up image generation for both gaming and creative work.
Predator Helios Neo 16S AI
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (PHN16S-I71) is the slim, portable choice in the lineup. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. The OLED HDR display runs at 240 Hz with WQXGA resolution, a 1 ms response time, and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy. Cooling is handled by a Predator AeroBlade 3D Fan and liquid metal thermal grease.
Predator Helios Neo 16 AI
The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-I71) offers desktop-level performance in a 16-inch laptop. It features an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. The OLED HDR display has a 1 ms response time, WQXGA resolution, and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy. Cooling uses a Predator AeroBlade 3D Fan, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes. For connectivity, buyers get Intel Killer Ethernet E3100 and Thunderbolt 4.
Predator Helios Neo 18 AI
The Predator Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-I71) is the 18-inch counterpart, offering up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. Along with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, the device’s WQXGA display offers the new Ambient Contrast Ratio (ACR) film, which reduces glare and enhances contrast for vivid imagery and clear details, even in bright environments. To sustain its top performance, the device is equipped with a Predator AeroBlade 3D Fan, liquid-metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes for efficient cooling.
All three Predator Helios Neo laptops include AI features for gaming and streaming. PredatorSense lets users adjust performance modes, fan speeds, and customize the 4-zone RGB keyboard and cover logo. Acer PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView use AI to reduce background noise and improve video quality. The Acer Intelligence Space hub adds tools such as Game Assistant for aiming support and ProCam for automatically capturing gameplay highlights.
