Global AI device ecosystem company HONOR has launched the HONOR X9e Pro, the first Pro smartphone model in its X Series. The device focuses on durability, battery life, display quality, and AI features for users who want more from their mobile phones.
Durability is a key focus for the HONOR X9e Pro, with several features designed to handle daily wear and tear:
- Drop resistance: The phone is built to handle drops from up to 3 meters, using a 360-degree shock-absorbing structure. It has an SGS 5-Star rating for drop resistance, including on uneven surfaces and low-angle falls.
- Water resistance: The IP69K rating means the smartphone can be submerged in water up to 10 meters and can be used for underwater photography.
- Heat resistance: The device can withstand hot-water splashes up to 85°C, which is higher than most smartphones.

Battery life is a highlight, with an 11,000mAh battery that can last up to three days on a single charge, even in high temperatures up to 50°C. The phone supports 80W fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, so it can charge other devices. HONOR targets a six-year battery lifespan for consistent performance.
The 6.8-inch display reaches a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. A hardware-level 1-nit ultra-dark mode helps reduce glare in low light. The display includes several eye comfort features and works with gloved or wet hands.
The main camera is a 108MP sensor with AI features for clearer photos in different lighting and action scenarios. It uses CIPA 6.0-level stabilization, combining optical (OIS) and electronic (EIS) methods for steady shots and includes underwater color correction for more accurate underwater photos.
AI features include FreeGrip, which lets you use the phone with either hand and adapts the interface accordingly. You can answer calls with one hand. The phone uses Google Gemini for AI assistance and includes Creative Editor 2.0 for content creation and editing.
The HONOR X9e Pro comes in four colors: Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black.
