It’s the age of AI-assisted computers (not AI-powered, but soon it will be). We’ve featured a number of AI-assisted laptops, but Gigabyte’s newest model is designed with creators, gamers, and developers in mind.
GIGABYTE launched the AERO X16, an ultra-thin Copilot+ PC designed for users who want a mix of mobility, AI power, and features built for creators. The AERO X16 includes WINDFORCE Infinity cooling and GIGABYTE’s GiMATE AI agent to help keep productivity, content creation, and entertainment running smoothly.
The AERO X16 is built for demanding AI tasks, offering up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 85W Max TGP. With 12GB of VRAM, it delivers better visuals in AAA games with DLSS 4.5 and supports larger AI models directly on the device. This makes it a solid choice for creators, professionals, and gamers who want strong performance on the go.
Alongside Copilot+ features such as Cocreator, AI photo tools, and real-time translation, GIGABYTE adds its own GiMATE AI Agent for greater control over hardware and software. GiMATE Creator supports local image generation, while GiMATE Coder supports natural-language code generation and integrates with Visual Studio Code for faster debugging.
The AERO X16 is just 16.75mm thick and weighs 1.9kg, making it easy to carry without sacrificing performance. Its WINDFORCE Infinity cooling system uses dual fans and four heat pipes to keep things running cool and quiet. The 16:10 2.5K 165Hz IPS display offers 100% sRGB and Pantone-validated color accuracy, while Dolby Atmos audio and TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification round out the experience for both work and entertainment.
The AERO X16 offers up to 14 hours of battery life and supports fast charging. It comes with a Golden Curve Keyboard featuring RGB lighting, and is available in Lunar White or Space Gray, each with a unique nameplate and textured finish.
