It’s Friday, and it’s only natural that you’re looking to relax and reward yourself with some gaming time (I would, too). So we’ve rounded up five new games you’ll want on your radar. Quick descriptions and official links included, so you can jump right in.
1. Gears of War: E-Day
Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PC
One of the most eagerly awaited new games, Gears of War: E-Day rewinds the clock fourteen years before the first game, dropping you right into the chaos of Emergence Day, the moment the Locust Horde decided to crash the party on Sera. You’ll play as a younger Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago, facing off against a brand-new nightmare. Expect the classic cover-based shootouts you know and love, but with some shiny new tech, smoother movement, deeper co-op campaigns, and the return of fan-favorite multiplayer like Horde Siege.

2. Star Wars: Galactic Racer
Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is here to scratch that itch for high-speed, sci-fi racing. You’ll suit up as Shade, a pilot with a chip on their shoulder and a grudge against the shady Bool family. Climb the ranks of the Galactic League, customize your repulsorcraft (think space-age go-karts with attitude), and race across wild alien tracks. There’s a story-driven campaign if you want lore with your laps, plus online multiplayer chaos for those who prefer their racing with a side of mayhem.

3. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival
Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is not for the faint of heart—or the easily creeped out. This action-horror trip drops you into a twisted nightmare world straight out of the infamous puzzle box. You’ll be dodging Cenobites, trying to stay one step ahead of Pinhead, and solving puzzles that are a lot less Sudoku and a lot more survival. It’s a wild blend of melee combat and brain teasers, all wrapped up in the dark, deliciously disturbing themes fans expect from Hellraiser.

4. Forever Ago
Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch
Forever Ago is a narrative adventure that puts you in the driver’s seat—literally. You play as Alfred, an older guy with a vintage camper van, a camera, and a cassette player, hitting the road in search of redemption and maybe a little peace. Expect to snap photos, meet some quirky fellow travelers, and soak in some seriously gorgeous scenery as you piece together a story about grief, memories, and moving on. Bring tissues, just in case.

5. Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen (Expansion)
Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 (Expansion update for existing owners)
Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is here to give your Arisen another reason to brave the cold. This expansion packs in a snow-covered new region, complete with monsters that make yetis look cuddly, new vocations to master, and dungeons that’ll have you wishing for a map (or three). There’s more story, more customization, and a bunch of tweaks to make your adventure smoother. If you thought you were done, think again.
