If you’re the type who’d rather grind on a PS5, Switch, or Steam Deck at home, you probably know the pain of trying to game on your phone while traveling. Touchscreens just don’t cut it for serious sessions. But lately, gaming hardware makers are stepping up their game to make mobile play feel a lot less like a compromise. As September wraps up, two big announcements are shaking up the portable gaming scene. Infinix rolled out its GT NX Series as part of the GT Verse lineup, and HiBy Digital just pulled the curtain back on its Cyberpunk 2077 audio collab.
Infinix GT NX Series: Console-Grade Control Meets Mobile
Mobile gamers tired of thumb gymnastics on glass screens, take note: Infinix is dropping the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station.
The GT NX Controller wraps around your phone like a high-tech hug, swapping out slippery touchscreen taps for real buttons and sticks. The star of the show is a giant 1,089mm² glass touchpad that acts like a mouse for shooters and MOBAs. With it, you can finally land those pixel-perfect headshots without fighting your thumbs. Inside, it’s got a three-chip setup (two brains on the left, one on the right) for lightning-fast response times. Toss in customizable haptics and a battery that’ll outlast your longest grind, and you’ve got a controller built for all-night raids.
Pair it with the GT NX Station, a foldable 9-in-1 dock that basically turns your phone into a mini gaming rig. You get all the ports you’d expect: HDMI, Ethernet, USB ports, and microSD. Plus, it has a built-in cooling system to keep things chill when your game heats up. Plus, you can charge your phone while playing on a big screen. This way, you won’t have to choose between battery life and bragging rights.

Both the GT NX Controller and Station land in the Philippines on September 30. They’ll hit Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop for PhP 3,299 and PhP 3,499. Not a bad deal if you’re looking to level up your mobile setup.
HiBy x Cyberpunk 2077: Audio Gear from Night City
Meanwhile, HiBy Digital is teaming up with CD PROJEKT RED to bring Night City flair to your audio setup. The collab kicks off with two eye-catching gadgets: the PULSE gaming headset and the GRID external sound card.
Instead of going for a generic look, HiBy is diving deep into Night City’s lore with three themed designs:
- V Edition: Inspired by the game’s mercenary protagonist, with the iconic yellow-and-black colorway.
- SAMURAI Edition: Channeling the rebellious rockerboy energy of Johnny Silverhand and his chrome-rock band.
- ARASAKA Edition: Featuring the sleek, corporate, and militaristic visual cues of the Arasaka Corporation.
There’s also a mysterious fourth PULSE Limited Edition in the works, but HiBy’s keeping that one locked away for now. For now, this is just a sneak peek at the designs, specs, and prices. Where you can buy them are still TBA. Whether you’re docking your phone for a low-latency competitive match or jacking into the immersive soundscapes of Night City, these latest hardware releases show that the tools for serious gaming keep evolving in exciting directions.
