May is already over, and we’re already half through the year. Wow. And we’ve covered a ton of stuff already. Last week, we saw tech product releases, namely the DJI Power 1000 mini portable power solution, the TechLife Pad Plus 2 tablet, and the Infinix Note 60 Pro. Check out the details below.
DJI Power 1000 Mini
DJI is best known for drones and camera gear, but they’ve also got a portable power solution worth checking out. The DJI Power 1000 Mini packs the essentials of their bigger power stations into a much smaller, travel-friendly package. It’s a 1kWh-class power station built for creators, campers, and anyone who needs reliable power on the go.
Inside, you’ll find LiFePO4 batteries built to last, which they say are good for up to 4,000 cycles, or about 10 years of daily use. The Power 1000 Mini delivers 800W of continuous power (1,000W peak), and can even handle some 1,200W devices for short bursts. It weighs just 11.5 kg and is easy to carry. You get Wi-Fi and Bluetooth app control, a built-in 100W retractable USB-C cable, multiple AC outlets, USB-C and USB-A ports, plus a special SDC port for charging DJI drone batteries.
Charging is quick: DJI says you can charge it to 80% in just under an hour from the wall, or charge up to 400W with the built-in MPPT module. There’s a UPS mode with a fast 10ms switchover to keep sensitive gear safe, and the Mini is tuned for longer runtimes on devices that draw between 100 and 400W. You also get a dimmable LED front light with SOS mode. Just note the 800W output limit means it won’t run high-draw appliances, and there’s no AC back-feed for home backup. The Power 1000 Mini is priced at ₱35,990.

TechLife Pad Plus 2
The TechLife Pad Plus 2 is a multimedia tablet built for everyday use. It’s got a big 12-inch 2K display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and up to 450 nits of brightness, great for streaming, online classes, or multitasking with split-screen apps. The metal chassis feels premium, and inside you get a MediaTek Helio G100 chip, 8GB of RAM (plus 4GB more with virtual expansion), and 128GB of storage that you can bump up to 1TB with a microSD card. There’s plenty of room for your files and apps. reverse charging, offering extended usage and convenience beyond its predecessor. The Pad Plus 2 includes LTE connectivity, freeing users from constant Wi-Fi dependence, and operates on Android 16 for the latest software experience. Audio is delivered via a quad-stereo speaker system for immersive sound during media playback or calls. Priced at ₱14,999, it’s available for pre-order at the TechLife site. You can get them in Storm Grey, Moonlight Silver, and Starlight Pink, with early offers bundling a free keyboard case and 3-in-1 stylus to boost productivity.

Infinix NOTE 60 Pro
The Infinix Note 60 Pro just launched last week, and it’s looking sharp. It runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G chip, bringing efficient Qualcomm 5G power to the lineup. The 144Hz display with 1.5K resolution keeps animations, scrolling, and gaming buttery smooth. You get a huge 6500mAh battery with super-fast 90W charging for all-day use and quick top-ups. JBL speakers are built in for better sound.
The Note 60 Pro’s camera setup is built for photography fans. The main 50MP Night Master Cam has a wide f/1.59 aperture for better low-light shots, plus OIS and PDAF for sharp, steady photos and video. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus and a 111.4° field of view, and a 13MP front camera for clear selfies. Both cameras can shoot up to 4K video at 30FPS and 1080p slow motion at 120FPS. You also get software modes like Super Night, Dual Video, Vlog, and a Sky Shop filter for landscapes.
