Diablo 4’s newest expansion has been officially released! Here’s a preview of Lord of Hatred, the new expansion for the hit Blizzard dark fantasy action RPG.
Lord of Hatred is the continuation of the story of the last expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
Akarat,the holy prophet, long dead, has been infused with Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred’s soulstone.
Now it’s up to new and old heroes to stop him from rampaging across Sanctuary.
If you pre-ordered Lord of Hatred last year, the Paladin class was made available for play.
Now that the new expansion has been officially released, a new class, the Warlock, is now playable.
We bought the deluxe edition, which contained the following extras:
- New Mount
- New Pet
- Transmogs for the Paladin and Warlock
- Battlepass
While online play is pretty awesome, we’re more interested in the story.
And unfortunately, it seems Blizzard killed off one of the main characters in Lord of Hatred.
Why Blizzard?
Anyway, aside from that development, the new skill rework looks great, and a few other additions have been included in Lord of Hatred. We’ll do a deep dive into it in the coming weeks.
And right now, even with the sad story development, Diablo 4’s Lord of Hatred expansion looks like it’s going to be a more solid expansion with more gameplay features and additions.
