Razer Basilisk V4 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse

Razer is back at it again with the Basilisk V4 Pro, the latest in their long-running gaming mouse series. If you’ve ever wanted a mouse that feels like it was built just for your hand (and your endless macro needs), this one’s aiming to check all the boxes. Razer’s packed in their newest tech, promising a wireless mouse that’s not just another pretty RGB face.

Unprecedented Sensor Performance

Let’s talk sensors, because Razer’s gone all-in with the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3. We’re talking 50,000 DPI here. Yes, that’s a lot of zeroes, and probably more sensitivity than most of us will ever need. But hey, it’s nice to have bragging rights. You get single-DPI step adjustments for those who like to fine-tune things down to the pixel. With a max tracking speed of 930 IPS and 90G acceleration, this thing is basically the sports car of mouse sensors. Frame Sync tech keeps your movements snappy, and features like Smart Tracking, Asymmetric Cut-off (up to 26 steps). There’s also a new Rotation Tool mean you can tweak your tracking until it’s just right.

A Gaming Mouse Revolution in Scrolling and Control

It’s not just the sensor getting all the love. The scroll wheel and buttons have had a serious glow-up too. The new HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 brings dynamic scrolling modes to the party. You still get your classic Tactile and Free-Spin. But now there’s Precision Tactile mode. This basically doubles the steps when you’re scrolling through a bottomless RPG inventory or trying to find that one spell on your hotbar. Smart-Reel mode is a neat trick too. It switches between tactile and free-spin depending on how fast you scroll. Plus, you can tweak all of this in Razer Synapse.

Macro fans, rejoice: the Basilisk V4 Pro packs 14 customizable controls, so you can finally bind every spell, grenade, and emote your heart desires. There’s a new M1 edge button, three side buttons, and the much-loved multi-function trigger. FPS players get a special treat with the “Perfect 180” feature. Tap it and your character whips around instantly, perfect for those moments when someone thinks they can sneak up behind you. Low-sens players, this one’s for you.

Razer Gaming Mouse Next-Gen Connectivity and Endurance

Worried about your mouse dying mid-match? The Basilisk V4 Pro claims up to 200 hours of battery life, so you can marathon your favorite games without hunting for a charging cable. With HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 and HyperPolling, you get up to 8000 Hz polling rates. Razer says it cuts latency by 23% over the last gen. If you’re the type who games on multiple devices, there are five ways to connect. That includes Bluetooth 6.2, which lets you pair with three devices at once. No more unplugging and re-pairing every time you switch setups.

Under the hood, you’ve got Razer’s Gen-4 Optical Mouse Switches, rated for over 100 million clicks. That’s a lot of headshots, spell casts, and frantic menu navigation. They’re built to be fast and reliable, so you can keep clicking away without worrying about your mouse giving up before you do.

Aesthetics and availability

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Razer flagship without RGB. The Basilisk V4 Pro sports a 7-zone Chroma Lighting array with full underglow, so you can light up your desk in any of 16.8 million colors. And if you’re playing one of the 300+ Chroma-supported games, your mouse will put on a light show to match the action.
