Timeli in use

Smart Home Protection LLC has launched Timeli, a patented portable safety device that packs a flashlight, video, alarm, GPS, and instant two-way emergency dispatch into a single unit.

Timeli in use

Timeli is designed to deter threats, record incidents, and get help quickly. Instead of juggling apps or steps, users press and hold to start HD video recording, live GPS tracking, and two-way emergency communication over cellular. The device keeps you visible, connected, and protected wherever you are.

“Timeli was created to bridge the gap between fear and action,” said David Szekeres, Founder of Smart Home Protection LLC. “Traditional tools are reactive and limited. We designed Timeli to deter threats instantly, capture critical evidence, and connect people to professional help in real time. It is an unprecedented multi-function portable security system, unlike anything on the market today.”

Recent research shows 38% of women limit daily activities due to safety concerns, and 32% have felt unsafe without a way to get help. Many still rely on pepper spray or location trackers, which are becoming outdated. While video doorbells and smart security systems have changed home protection, Timeli brings that same recording and dispatch power anywhere, giving users more freedom and confidence.

Video Verification is Transforming Emergency Dispatch

Live video turns an emergency from a vague report into a clear event that dispatchers can act on quickly. Timeli’s emergency dispatch partner, RapidSOS, notes, “real-time visual information gives 911 the clarity needed to classify an incident as urgent and respond faster with the right resources.” Industry data supports this. Video-verified alarms have been shown to cut police response times by as much as 75%. Monitoring centers confirm that when they can authenticate a threat on video, 911 prioritizes those calls. Verified incidents also reduce false dispatches and improve on-scene outcomes, as evidenced by case studies showing arrests that traditional alarms failed to produce.

Timeli aims to make personal safety smarter and more accessible for anyone—whether walking across campus, running at dusk, walking a dog at night, or traveling alone.

How Timeli works.

A single button starts protection. Press the power button to turn on the flashlight and start video recording. If things escalate, press and hold the red SOS button to trigger a loud alarm and connect to a UL-certified monitoring center. HD video and live GPS are sent directly to a dispatcher.

Built-in two-way voice lets users talk directly with dispatchers for faster, more informed help. Monitoring center staff see live video and location to verify the situation and send local emergency services if needed. Users can press the SOS button at any time, even just for reassurance. A dispatcher stays on the line until the user feels safe, at no extra charge.

Timeli connects via cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, so it works with or without a smartphone. The device supports push alerts, cloud video storage, and pairs with a companion app for iOS and Android. Users can customize recording quality, light brightness, and alarm volume to fit their needs.

Timeli is about the size and weight of a smartphone, so it fits in a pocket, purse, or on a lanyard. The battery lasts up to two years on standby, 72 hours on the go, or over six hours in active use. It can also charge your phone in a pinch, stopping at 50% battery to keep three hours of emergency power in reserve.

“We built Timeli to address the modern realities of personal safety,” said Jeromy Stallings, Co-Founder of Timeli. “Security systems and video doorbells have evolved to protect our homes, but nothing comparable exists for personal, on-the-go safety. Traditional tools often leave people juggling multiple devices, apps, cameras, and alarms, when every second counts. Timeli brings all of those functions together in one familiar hand-held form: the flashlight. It’s designed for anyone who values safety on the go. Our goal is simple: to make advanced safety technology accessible, reliable, and always within reach.”

Priced at $299.95, the device includes a 12-month subscription for Timeli, which costs $299.95 and includes a 12-month subscription for direct security monitoring and dispatch. After the first year, the service is $9.95 per month. More details and ordering are available at www.timeli.com. & Apps category of the CES Innovation Awards® Program for CES® 2026.
