New health devices for you, your home, and the baby!

Smart homes need smart health devices, so we’ve collated three for you to check out! One for your ear, one for your baby (if you happen to have one or are about to have one), and an air purifier approved by a medical doctor.

Naväge, known for its top-rated nasal irrigation systems, is now bringing its innovation to ear care. The new Naväge Dual Action Powered Ear Cleaner uses precision wash-and-dry cycles to clear out wax and help prevent trapped moisture, giving you a comfortable, refreshing clean.

The device is built for comfort, with five rinse modes, soft silicone tips, and a clear waste-water tank so you can see it working. It’s waterproof, USB-rechargeable, and safe for anyone age 6 and up. Naväge worked with Dr. Howard Levine, Director of the Cleveland Nasal & Sinus Center, to develop the cleaner.

While Naväge is changing the way adults care for their ears, another company is focused on helping parents monitor their baby’s health overnight.

Babies get SightAware

Nonnanest, Inc., a baby wellness technology company founded in Charleston, SC, has announced that its flagship product, SightAware™, has achieved patent-pending status. SightAware is a contactless infrared baby wellness monitor that reads skin temperature from up to four feet away — no wearable sensor, WiFi, or smartphone app required.

Founder and CEO Nathan Overbey, who brings over 15 years of enterprise technology experience from Salesforce and ServiceNow, designed SightAware after a personal experience revealed a critical gap in the baby monitor market. When his six-month-old son woke up feverish in the middle of the night, Overbey’s monitor could only show room temperature — not his son’s. “The market doesn’t need another high-resolution camera,” said Overbey. “It needs more awareness.”

The SightAware 5-inch HD parent display shows real-time skin temperature and room temperature contactlessly. No phone, app, or WiFi required.

SightAware uses a proprietary infrared sensor array — similar to pediatric no-touch thermometers — and transmits data via FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum), a secure protocol that keeps all information local between the nursery camera and a dedicated 5-inch HD parent display. No internet, no servers, no accounts. Key features include 355-degree pan, two-way audio, infrared night vision, customizable temperature alerts, and a 5-minute setup. Priced at $329 with no subscription fees, SightAware is expected to be available at nonnanest.com in spring 2026.

Shifting from the nursery to the living room, another wellness brand is tackling a hidden concern for many families: indoor air quality.

Make living better with Homekind Total Air 180 Purifier

Homekind™ by Gundry MD, the new home wellness brand founded by renowned heart surgeon and gut health expert Dr. Steven Gundry, has launched its flagship product, the Total Air 180 Air Purifier. “Many people focus on what they eat, but overlook what they breathe,” said Dr. Gundry. “Total Air 180 was designed to give families a smarter, more effective way to create a cleaner, healthier home environment.”

The Total Air 180 covers single rooms up to 1,200 square feet and features a 5-stage medical-grade filtration system, including dual pre-filters, a HEPA 13 or HEPA 14 filter (capturing up to 99.995% of ultrafine particles), Microban® antimicrobial protection, and a T5 activated carbon filter to reduce odors and VOCs. A sealed system design ensures all air passes through the filter — not around it. Units can be used freestanding or wall-mounted and come with a preinstalled filter.

The Total Air 180 is equipped with a built-in PM2.5 sensor that continuously monitors air quality and automatically adjusts fan speed. Additional smart features include auto mode, four manual fan speeds, sleep mode, touch-panel and remote-control operation, child lock, and a filter-replacement indicator.
