Mobile World Congress sees new smartphones from Motorola, Tecno and Doogee

Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona brought a fresh batch of new smartphones from Motorola, TECNO, and DOOGEE, all with enhanced AI capabilities. Here are a few of the most interesting launches.

Motorola razr fold: A New Era in Foldables

Motorola introduced its first book-style foldable, the Motorola Razr Fold, setting a new standard for productivity and entertainment on the go. The device sports a slim 6.6-inch external display that unfolds into a spacious 8.1-inch 2K LTPO canvas, perfect for multitasking, gaming, and streaming. The razr fold is just 4.6mm thin when open and 9.9mm when closed, thanks to a precision-engineered stainless steel teardrop hinge and titanium inner screen plate for durability.

The razr fold features Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 for enhanced drop protection and the brightest interior display in its class. Audio comes from Dolby Atmos and Bose-tuned stereo speakers.

The camera setup is rated #1 for foldables in North America by DXOMARK, with three 50MP sensors (main, periscope telephoto, and ultrawide). Moto AI helps with real-time optimization, 8K video, and Pantone color accuracy. Laptop and tent modes let you use the phone for content creation or multitasking.

The device packs the largest battery in a foldable (The razr fold has a 6000mAh battery, the biggest in a foldable, with 80W fast charging and wireless charging support. Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage, plus liquid cooling for better performance. CAMON 50 Series Ecosystem

Tecno showcased the CAMON 50 Series, which pushes the boundaries of mobile photography and AI integration. Leveraging flagship Sony sensors and a dedicated AI computing architecture, the phone delivers instant professional-grade clarity. Notable features include Super-Zoom FlashSnap (AI-powered, with zero shutter lag for fast action) and AI Auto Zoom, which intelligently frames subjectsfor cinematic results.

The CAMON 50 also includes an AI Art Gallery, One-Tap FlashMemo for quick notes, and the Ella AI assistant for daily tasks. TECNO showcased its broader AI ecosystem at MWC, including new laptops, wearables, and a smart connectivity platform called OneLeap. TECNO is also partnering with Tonino Lamborghini on co-branded devices.

DOOGEE: Rugged Innovation and AI Ecosystem

DOOGEE’s lineup at MWC26 included AI-powered and rugged devices. The AI Concept Phone features a digital “friend” that responds to battery status, plus smart document analysis and real-time translation via a Smart Key. The AI Camera Headphone lets you record 2K HD video hands-free with EIS stabilization and Wi-Fi 6, useful for outdoor use.

Highlights from DOOGEE’s rugged lineup: S300 Plus Thermal (HD thermal imaging and night vision), V Max 2 Pro (22,000mAh battery with charging display), Fire 7 Ultra (Bluetooth walkie-talkie), and B10 Pro (120Hz screen, silicon-carbon battery, and IP68/IP69K durability for business travel).
