Off-leash training is challenging for many dog owners, and leash pulling, barking, and ignored commands can make walks stressful. DogVibe is a new smart dog training system that uses artificial intelligence, smartphone connectivity, and behavioral feedback to address these issues. The pet tech collar is currently available on Kickstarter.
Pet Tech that make off-leash training easier
You know that taking care of dogs means feeding them, taking them to the vet for regular checkups, and playing with them. One of the most important things as well is taking your dogs for walks. It helps them get more exercise and be more sociable. It’s okay to put them on a leash. But having a dog off-leash, able to control itself and obey your commands? Pure dog-owner bliss.

DogVibe goes beyond traditional e-collars with several components. It includes a smart collar, a leash module, a long-range remote, and a smartphone app. Owners can customize settings and track their dog’s progress from their phones. The company has opted for a hardware-only model, so there are no monthly subscription fees.

DogVibe uses artificial intelligence to detect your dog’s specific bark, reducing the false corrections common with generic anti-bark collars. The pet tech collar’s machine learning system learns your dog’s bark signature and delivers feedback only when your dog barks, not when other dogs or noises are present. This approach aims to make training more accurate and fair.

DogVibe also tackles leash pulling with a leash module that detects tension and responds in real time, helping to reduce pulling without constant manual correction. For off-leash training, the pet tech system includes a virtual proximity fence. Owners can set boundaries in the app, and the collar warns the dog if it moves too far away, encouraging it to stay close without a physical leash.
DogVibe’s Kickstarter campaign has surpassed its $20,000 goal, raising over $52,000 so far. The campaign runs until October 30, 2026, and the team is preparing for production.
Smart home technology is starting to include pets. And with pet tech like DogVibe, it could improve communication between owners and their dogs, making training safer and more effective.
