Segway launched the new Muxi Pro Cargo eBike for people who need to haul stuff but still want an easy, almost automatic ride. Available now, the Muxi Pro packs in smart safety features you’d expect from a car, electronic auto-shifting, and enough carrying power to make it a real option for families, city commuters, or anyone doing deliveries.
Power and Intelligent Performance
The Muxi Pro runs on a strong 750W rear motor that gives you plenty of push: up to 80 Nm of torque. Depending on where you live, you can set it up for different speed classes: 20 mph with pedal assist, 20 mph with throttle, or even 28 mph if you want to go faster. There’s also a Hybrid Mode that mixes throttle and pedal assist, so you can ride how you like.
What makes the Muxi Pro cargo ebike stand out is how smart it is. Forget about shifting gears yourself. The bike uses sensors to handle speed, pedaling, and hills, so it shifts automatically. That means smoother starts at traffic lights and easier climbs. You can even pick your preferred pedaling style and switch between Casual, Standard, or Sport modes using the Segway app.

Safety Tech Borrowed from Automotive
Segway took safety seriously here. The Muxi Pro has a Traction Control System that watches your wheels and steps in to stop you from slipping on wet or loose roads.
Going down steep city hills is easier too, thanks to Hill Descent Control. This Segway cargo ebike keeps your speed in check and uses the motor to slow you down, so your brakes don’t overheat. The bike also recovers energy when you brake, topping up the 716 Wh battery and giving you more range. And if you’re stopped on a hill, Hill Start Assist holds the bike for three seconds so you don’t roll back when the light turns green.
Cargo-Ready Utility and Smart Ecosystem
The Muxi Pro is built tough, with a frame that keeps your load low and stable. It can carry up to 418 lbs in total (that’s a lot of weight), with 33 lbs up front and 121 lbs on the back rack. You can even add a passenger kit if you want to bring someone along. Big, wide tires and front suspension help smooth out rough streets.
The tech is baked in. With AirLock Bluetooth, the cargo ebike unlocks itself when you walk up. You can track it remotely if it ever goes missing. The water-resistant display shows everything you need: speed, phone alerts, and directions. It even has rear radar that flashes the brake lights if a car gets too close.
But it is rather pricey at $1,999 or P125,757. With that amount, you can make a down payment for a small car. But this Segway is meant to cut fuel costs for short runs to the mall, grocery store, and even vet visits for your pets. It’ll save you money and reduce your carbon footprint.
