Cybopal Desktop Robotic Terminal

Monitors have become bigger, sharper, and thinner, but they’re still fixed in place. What if the monitor moved with you as you move your eyes or your body? Well, hardware startup CyboPal just did that with its first product: the CyboPal ONE. The company calls it a “Desktop Robotic Terminal” designed to make your workspace adapt to you.

Not Just Another Display

The CyboPal ONE features a 27-inch 4K display with a 160Hz refresh rate. The screen is permanently attached to a quiet 6-axis robotic arm.

This isn’t an all-in-one PC. The CyboPal ONE is a plug-and-play terminal that works with macOS, Windows, and Linux over USB-C or HDMI. It acts as a moving extension of your current laptop or desktop.

A Workspace That Moves With You

CyboPal adapts the workspace to the user, not the other way around. With 700mm of reach, the desktop robotic terminal or arm adjusts to your position. Whether you’re leaning in, standing, or reclining, the screen tracks your movement and shifts to keep the viewing angle comfortable.

Cybopal Desktop Robotic Terminal moves the monitor when you move

To avoid collisions with items on your desk, CyboPal uses five layers of environmental sensors. These sensors map the desk, recognize clutter and boundaries, and help the screen move around obstacles.

Next-Gen Interface: Voice, Gestures, and Local AI

CyboPal ONE supports gesture controls alongside the usual mouse and keyboard. You can wave to wake the screen, pinch or pull to zoom or scroll, and tap the air to stop its motion.

CyboPal ONE also supports voice control and local AI. Built-in microphones let you draft emails, search the web, or switch apps without using your hands. The AI runs on the device, so your data stays local. There’s also a 3.5-inch “Pauli” companion display for notifications.

For remote work, the CyboPal ONE uses its camera, microphones, and tracking to make video calls more interactive. The screen can pivot and follow the conversation.

Pricing and Availability

While  CyboPal ONE desktop robotic terminal is priced as a premium device,  its features could help with ergonomics and accessibility for some users.
