Pudu Robotics introduced the PUDU D5 Series, an autonomous robot designed for delivery and inspection in industrial, logistics, and security settings. The platform focuses on all-terrain mobility and high-performance computing.

At the core of the PUDU D5 and its D5-W variant is a robust processing architecture powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX 64GB combined with an RK3588 processor. This dual-processor setup delivers up to 275 TOPS of computing performance, giving the robot the localized processing power needed for complex autonomous tasks. To handle heavy, continuous workloads without thermal throttling, Pudu has integrated a vapor-chamber system paired with dual-fan cooling, ensuring stable operation across demanding environments.

The D5 uses a 360-degree perception system for navigation. The standard setup includes dual 3D 96-line spherical LiDARs and four fisheye cameras, supporting centimeter-level positioning and dynamic obstacle avoidance. For applications that need more advanced perception, a dual 192-line LiDAR system is available.

The 56-kilogram autonomous robot quadruped is built for all-terrain mobility. It can reach speeds up to 5 meters per second and handle 45-degree slopes. The D5 model can step over obstacles up to 30 centimeters high (25 centimeters for the D5-W) and climb up to 80 centimeters. Its joints deliver up to 165 Nm of torque, supporting a continuous walking payload of 20 to 30 kilograms for transporting equipment or modular attachments.

The D5 series has an IP67 ingress protection rating against rain, snow, and dust. It operates in temperatures from –20°C to 55°C and can cold-start below –10°C. A 1000 Wh battery provides up to 2.5 hours of runtime for the D5 and up to 3 hours for the D5-W.

The D5 autonomous robot supports voice commands and more than ten natural gestures, using deep-vision sensing and a six-microphone array with AI noise reduction and sound localization. Its Intelligent Follow feature uses trajectory prediction to track users in crowded spaces. For remote management, the RCOS Remote Control System offers live panoramic video feeds and real-time status monitoring.

The PUDU D5 series uses an open architecture that supports add-ons such as charging stations, inspection kits, and delivery crates, making it adaptable for different industrial needs.
