nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition & Neo 5 Max
Nubia adds two new tech device models to its gaming lineup: the Neo 5 GT 5G Special Edition (which we already featured here) and the Neo 5 Max. The GT Special Edition is built for gamers, with a 6.79-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400, 12GB RAM, and a 6210mAh battery with 80W charging. It also includes touch shoulder triggers, rear RGB lights, and a built-in cooling fan. The Neo 5 Max increases the screen size to 7.5 inches with a 1.5K IPS LCD at 144Hz. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7100, 8GB RAM, and a 7,100mAh battery with 45W charging and bypass charging. Both phones have a 50MP main camera and are aimed at users who want large displays and steady performance.
TECNO MEGAPAD 2
TECNO’s MEGAPAD 2 LTE is a budget tablet with an 11-inch 2.5K IPS display, 90Hz refresh rate, and 550 nits peak brightness. It uses a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. LTE support is included. The tablet has quad speakers with DTS sound, an 8,200mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and runs HiOS 16 on Android 16. The rear camera is 8MP and records 1080p video. Pricing starts at about PHP 13,266, with early offers including a Bluetooth keyboard.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra
Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra flagship arrives with a Leica imaging system. The camera setup includes a 50MP main 1.0-inch sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. It runs on a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display supports a 1-120Hz refresh rate and reaches 3500 nits peak brightness. The 6000mAh Si/C battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is rated IP68/IP69 and uses Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0. Price is set at PHP 99,999.
Nothing Phone (4b) & Ear (3a)
Nothing’s new tech device midrange lineup includes the Phone (4b) and Ear (3a). The Phone (4b) has a 6.77-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 8GB RAM, and a 5200mAh battery. It keeps the company’s industrial design, a customizable rear Glyph Bar, and adds an Essential Key for quick actions. The Ear (3a)earbuds use 12mm drivers and offer up to 45dB Wideband Active Noise Cancellation. They include an Audio Snapshot tool that lets users record audio, calls, or meetings with a pinch gesture, saving files to the Nothing X app for transcription. Battery life is up to 42 hours.
